Bermuda Powerlifting Association president Brittany Denbrook has completed the International Powerlifting Federation [IPF] Level II Coaching Certification.
The BPA announced the achievement on social media, saying it represented another step towards supporting the growth of powerlifting in Bermuda.
The course was held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and brought together participants from Barbados, the Cayman Islands, Panama, Mexico, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Trinidad and Tobago.
“It was an amazing experience to learn, connect, and spend time with people who are so passionate about this sport,” the BPA posted.
“A huge thanks to powerlifting for being such amazing hosts and the International Powerlifting Federation for the opportunity.
“Can’t wait to meet back up with everyone in Panama next year for North American Powerlifting Federation.”
