You will have seen them; the photographs of the Princess of Wales gliding gracefully into the Oman State Dinner at Windsor Castle earlier this week. She was wearing her favourite Lover's Knot Tiara and an etherial, butter yellow gown complete with a cape. While, for most of us, an invite to a palace of any kind is unlikely to be in the post, there is now a more affordable way to grasp a little of that royal magic.
Elie Saab, the very designer behind the Princess' stunning look for the grand banquet on Tuesday (20 October), has launched a collaboration with high street retailer, H&M - and it's live on-site right now. There is an impressive array of pieces to choose from, with a few in particular which could be straight out of Kate's wardrobe.

The stand-out piece for us is an emerald-green top complete with a miniature cape, which we can just imagine Kate wearing herself. While tops at Elie Saab can cost over £1000, this option is more than 10 times cheaper at £74.99 - although it's selling out fast:
While some items are selling out already, some of the collection is yet to be dropped, so there should be more stock coming. The 'Wool-blend hourglass coat' coat is also similar to the one the Princess of Wales wore earlier on the same day, to welcome the Sultan and rest of the delegation from Oman. While it's sold out at the moment, it's worth keeping an eye in case of a restock. Underneath the coat, she wore a high-neck lace top, which looks remarkably like the 'Embellished shoulder-pad lace top' in the Eli Saab collection with H&M:

There is also some embellished jewellery which feels especially regal in the collection:

On Tuesday, the Sultan of Oman, Haitham bin Tarik, arrived in the UK as part of a three-day state visit. He, along with other distinguished guests from the nation, were greeted by the King and Queen, and the Prince and Princess of Wales, before a traditional carriage procession through Windsor.

King Charles, Queen Camilla and the Princess of Wales formed a welcome committee.

The end of the first day was marked by a State Dinner, incorporating British and Omani traditions. The State Visits continues.
