Itanagar, October 15: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday called on the All Nyishi Youth Association (ANYA) to strengthen youth leadership, preserve cultural heritage and promote education and entrepreneurship as the organisation celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2026.

Speaking at the celebrations, themed “Honouring Legacy, Inspiring Youths,” Khandu described the milestone as an important chapter in the organisation’s journey.

He said the Nyishi community, the largest in Arunachal Pradesh, had a significant role to play in the state’s progress and development.
“As ANYA looks ahead to the next 50 years, it must continue to be a platform for responsible youth leadership, preservation of Nyishi culture and traditions, promotion of education and entrepreneurship, and constructive engagement in addressing social challenges,” the Chief Minister said.

Khandu expressed hope that the golden jubilee would inspire younger generations to honour their ancestors’ legacy while embracing knowledge, innovation and responsibility.
He also emphasised the broader goal of building a peaceful, progressive and prosperous Arunachal Pradesh, highlighting the importance of youth participation in shaping the state’s future.
