Md Habibur Rahman, deputy managing director of the bank, inaugurated the training session as the chief guest, according to a press release.
Speaking at the event, Habibur encouraged women customers to open Parama Accounts and use the bank’s dedicated women’s banking facilities and services.
He said women entrepreneurs play a vital role in strengthening the national economy, generating employment and promoting inclusive growth.
Access to formal financial services, appropriate financing, digital banking and practical business knowledge is essential for helping them establish, manage and expand sustainable businesses, he added.
Habibur also highlighted the bank’s digital banking initiatives, including NCC Always, Digital Account Opening and Bangla QR, which make banking and business transactions more accessible, convenient and efficient.

The initiative aims to enhance women entrepreneurs’ business knowledge and skills while improving their access to banking and financing facilities.
Conducted through the bank’s network of branches and sub-branches nationwide, the programme targets 3,000 women entrepreneurs.
