A rum spectacular with the South Pacific-inspired decor to match.
Quite simply, this underground rum bar is just a bloody fun place to hang out. Like rooftop bar Old Mate’s in the same building, upstairs, the staff are some of the most charming in town, and if you want an education on the finer points of Guatemalan rum compared to Saint Lucian, say, this is the place.
Try something as simple as rum and freshly pressed cane juice, or as intricate as the Red Godfather: coconut rum, coconut oil-infused charred pineapple sherry, and a reduction of curry leaf, sumac and grapefruit. Or, you could just sit on a Mai Tai and say goodbye to the cares of the week. We love the tiki decor, too. Hakuna Matata.
