Kim Fox-Danes (Tameka Empson) has rocked her iconic crop with a statement crimson slice EastEnders for a while, but now she’s got a brand new look!
Returning from her Caribbean honeymoon with her husband, Howie (Delroy Atkinson), in tow, the first thing fans – and her family – noticed was her voluminous, honey-balayage new waves.
Excited to reunite with the rest of the Fox-Trueman clan, the happy couple stepped out of their taxi on Albert Square, greeted by Patrick and Yolande Trueman (Rudolph Walker and Angela Wynter), and her daughter, Pearl (Arayah Harris-Buckle).
‘Nice hair, mum, did they do that in St Lucia?’ Pearl asked.
‘Yeah, the Caribbean Queen has come to Walford,’ Kim replied, before the family headed into their house to get re-acclimatised.

Fans went wild on social media over the fresh ‘do, with Ryan Glendenning/@RyanSoapKing25 posting: ‘Kim Fox has never looked better, OUR AGELESS ST LUCIAN QUEEN’, while @moonstarfem added: ‘Is there someone new in the hair and makeup department? Mitchell Webb/@MitchellWebb85 added: ‘Kim looks amazing!’, while @ShakyWoon added: ‘Nice hairstyle Kim!’ and @ChantalMascoe shared a ‘slay queen’ gif.
Of course, it wasn’t all compliments on her fierce new locks – Kim, of course, returned to a dramatic mess, as Howie’s son, Denzel (Jaden Ladega) had his feet held firmly to the fire over the nude images he’d sent to Amy Mitchell (Ellie Dadd).
Amy is currently being groomed by the deeply insidious Craig Ingram (Matthew James Bailey), who, after discovering Denzel’s ID in his flat after Amy invited her friends over, later found a shirtless image of him on Amy’s phone, which he demanded she show him as a display of trust.
Using her phone, he coerced Denzel into sending even more images, then turned completely sinister on the teen, threatening to send them to his loved ones and upload them to social media should he fail to deliver on a demand for £1000 cash.
Desperate and with no ability to raise the money, Denzel ultimately pawned the signet ring that Kim and Howie had bought him for his birthday and made the payment, believing that he’d averted the impending crisis.
It wasn’t to be, though, as Craig watched on with envy as Denzel – who’d finally stopped sweating bullets – enjoyed his birthday celebrations with his family and Amy, before sending the images to both Kim and Howie, watching on with maniacal glee as they received the pictures and the floor fell from beneath Denzel’s feet.
Up Next
Of course, Kim’s also returning as her beloved sister, Denise (Diane Parish) continues to bravely battle cancer.
Speaking exclusively to Metro previously, Tameka spoke on how Kim is dealing with the journey: ‘She’s putting herself in Denise’s shoes, which are very big shoes to fill, but she’s giving it a good shot.
‘You’ll see Kim grow up, take it on the chin, which is very unusual for Kim, but you still have the little bit of the laughter, the little bit of joy, not so much because she’s taken on this responsibility – it’s a different version of her.’
‘She’s just got to do it, I think it’s that thing of you’ve got to dig deep, you can’t let anybody down, she’s proven herself, not only her sister but to herself.
‘When you’ve got so many different family members with different needs, somebody’s gotta do it.’
Denise is struggling as her repeated chemotherapy treatments aren’t having the desired effect on her cancer, with all hopes being laid on finding a stem cell donor match, which has, thus far, proved to be elusive.
