A team from GAZ Fuel (Nile Energy Ltd) today visited Next Media Park to explore a strategic partnership aimed at delivering mutual benefits to both companies.
Upon arrival, the GAZ Fuel team was given an exclusive tour of the Park, led by Salam TV Operations Manager Sheikh Mustafah Mutuuhe, to familiarise themselves with the environment ahead of the meeting. The tour covered several Next Media studios and departments.
This was followed by a meeting between the GAZ Fuel team and the Salam TV team, led by Salam TV Managing Director Hajji Karim Kaliisa. The discussions centred on a wide range of issues concerning a partnership that would be mutually beneficial to both entities.
The GAZ Fuel team commended Next Media as one of the leading media institutions in the country and expressed its commitment to working together, noting that most of their organisational goals align, providing a strong foundation for a partnership.
Speaking during the meeting, Hajji Karim Kaliisa, the Managing Director of Salam TV and Salam Charity, said Next Media comprises several brands, with Salam TV recognised for its fieldwork, mobilisation and community engagements, which are supported by other brands within the ecosystem to achieve its goals. He added that a partnership between the two organisations would yield mutual benefits.
As part of the engagement, the GAZ Fuel team also received the Omumanyi Wa Salam TV guidebook, which contains guidelines for the TV station’s flagship campaign. The guidebook is intended to give the team insight into how Salam TV conducts its community activations and help identify areas where GAZ Fuel can get involved as the station engages directly with communities.
