Arelion today announced continued commercial momentum in its Baltic network expansion, delivering multi-terabit capacity on its high-performance Helsinki–Warsaw route, with several new enterprise and wholesale customers now onboarded.
Since launching the fully diverse Baltic corridor in October 2025, Arelion has seen accelerating demand across sectors including financial services, cloud, hosting and digital platforms. Several new high-capacity services, including Wavelengths, Ethernet and IP Transit, have now been deployed across the Baltic region, reflecting growing performance requirements driven by AI and cloud workloads.
Arelion has provisioned multi-terabit capacity on the corridor, demonstrating both the scalability of the infrastructure and growing market confidence in the Baltics as a strategic connectivity layer within Europe's digital backbone.
The Helsinki–Warsaw route forms part of a resilient ring connecting Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland, with onward connectivity into neighboring countries. By bypassing traditional bottlenecks and introducing true end-to-end route diversity, the corridor enables customers to reduce shared risk, improve latency consistency and strengthen overall network resilience.
The expansion reflects a broader shift in how connectivity is designed across Europe, with increasing focus on route diversity, operational assurance and long-term capacity readiness. The Baltics are emerging as a key interconnection zone linking Nordic and Central European ecosystems, giving customers greater flexibility in how and where they route critical traffic.
