Drone Attacks Strike Saudi Aramco Oil Field and Dammam Airport, Leaving Three Dead
Drone attacks have struck Saudi Arabia's Shaybah oil field and the King Fahd Airport in Dammam, leaving three people dead and eight injured. Saudi energy ministry officials stated that air defences intercepted a drone targeting the Aramco facility, reporting that operations remain uninterrupted despite casualties and damage. In the Eastern Province, the Saudi-led coalition intercepted four drones. The attacks, carried out by Houthis amid escalating conflict in Yemen, have targeted critical energy infrastructure and transport hubs. With airspace tensions and maritime disruptions impacting the Strait of Hormuz and the Bab-el-Mandeb, the strikes further aggravate global crude oil prices and the ongoing energy crisis.
