Saturday, October 17 is here, bringing a day packed with football and news.
So let's run through the five stories you can't miss to start your day...
The Tebas–Florentino Pérez feud is heating up

Friday began with Javier Tebas criticising some journalists who, he claims, act as mouthpieces for Real Madrid. In his criticism, he compared "pro-Madrid propaganda", a term he also used, to Nazi Germany's propaganda.
Real Madrid then issued a strongly worded statement demanding the La Liga president's resignation.
Tebas subsequently responded to the club in a tweet, saying that their call for his resignation was nothing new, having reportedly happened several times before, and that La Liga had not stood idly by in the Negreira case, as Real Madrid claimed in their statement.
Meanwhile, following Tebas's comparison, Spain's National Sports Council (CSD) is considering sanctions against him.

The Englishman will receive an improved deal reflecting his importance on the pitch.
Carvajal unveiled at Getafe: "I'll never say never again to the national team"
Dani Carvajal will be playing again, and he will be doing so in Madrid. The Spanish full-back has joined Getafe as a free agent and was unveiled on Friday.
On the one hand, he made it clear that he would never say never again to the Spanish national team. On the other, he acknowledged that he wanted a change of scenery and had received offers from exotic destinations that ultimately fell through.

During Spain's match against Egypt last March, chants of "Anyone who doesn't jump is a Muslim" broke out, which FIFA condemned.
FIFA has now fined the Spanish national team $20,000 and ordered 15% of the stadium's capacity to remain EMPTY at their next home match in a FIFA competition.
Nico Williams's agent ruffles feathers at Athletic Club

Nico Williams's agent, Félix Tainta, spoke on the 'Los Fulanos' podcast, and his words stung Athletic Club.
Here is what he said about Barcelona's interest in 2024: "We all know about Barça's interest in the summer of '24, after the Euros. Barça, Arsenal, Bayern, Liverpool, PSG... I could name them all. Everyone has wanted Nico, and finding a footballer who says no to all those clubs isn't easy. From there, we spoke to Barça. Athletic knew because I kept them informed of the situation at every stage, even though Athletic and Barça... Athletic were angry with Barça over how they had gone about things. From there, I opened talks, and there came a point in the negotiations, in the situation, where Nico couldn't risk not playing. Nico is a Formula 1 car, and if I come to your house, I can't take on your problems. I made that clear to Barça. From there, we decided that without certain guarantees, we couldn't risk Nico going there and not playing, with a World Cup coming up. And even without a World Cup, he's a professional who needs to do his job. I'm coming to your house to do my job, I have to keep doing my job, and if you have a problem, it shouldn't affect me. And if you can't guarantee that it won't affect me, then perhaps I need to change my mind."
But these were the words that really upset the club: "Nico was thinking about leaving. He's ambitious. At Athletic, you know the limitations, you know you're not going to win the Champions League, probably not La Liga either. In the end, as he was saying, 'Not here, not here, not here, this one might work, but the situation and everything that comes with it don't add up,' there's another twist where you say, 'What if I renew?' I put it to him and said, 'This is where things stand. Do you want me to push for it?' And he agreed. And that's when we renewed."
