KUALA LUMPUR: Infomina Bhd's net profit rose 30.6 per cent to RM10.55 million in the first quarter ended Aug 31, 2026 (Q1 FY27), from RM8.08 million a year ago.
The increase was mainly due to higher profit contribution from the technology infrastructure operations, maintenance and support services segment, the group said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
Quarterly revenue rose 39.5 per cent to RM76.19 million from RM54.63 million previously, driven by higher revenue contribution from the same segment.
Earnings per share increased to 1.76 sen from 1.34 sen previously.
Infomina's outstanding order book stood at RM614.2 million following contracts secured in Malaysia from the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and a local financial institution, as well as a contract from Panasonic Digital Co Ltd in Japan.
The group also completed the acquisition of a 51 per cent stake in Blue Fortress Sdn Bhd, which is expected to strengthen its cybersecurity, digital transformation and managed technology services businesses.
Separately, Broadcom appointed Infomina to distribute and support its mainframe software portfolio in 12 Asia Pacific markets, including four new markets: Australia, New Zealand, South Korea and India.
The group already operates in Malaysia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China and Japan.
Overall, the board remains optimistic about the group's outlook despite ongoing global economic uncertainties, barring unforeseen circumstances.
It said the recent developments, together with disciplined execution, were expected to support the group's growth.
