iQOO's 8.8-inch gaming tablet will go on sale in China on October 28. The company has also shown off its Ice Blade Blue finish and confirmed key specs, including the processor, display and battery.
After launching its high-end Pad Ultra last month, iQOO has confirmed October 28 as the sale date for its next compact flagship tablet, the Pad Pro, in China. The tablet has started arriving at major vivo and iQOO stores, where customers can try it ahead of its retail release.
We previously covered the tablet's gaming hardware, including its Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, dedicated Q3 gaming chip and built-in cooling fan. Its compact 8.8-inch form factor also makes it comparable to high-end gaming tablets such as the Lenovo Legion Tab Gen 5, which we have reviewed.
In its latest Weibo post, iQOO highlighted the Ice Blade Blue finish, describing its appearance as clear and glossy. The company also says the 8.8-inch design is thinner and lighter to hold, with portability and a wide field of view intended to benefit games such as first-person shooters.
The tablet's other announced specifications include a 165Hz OLED display, a 9,020mAh battery and touch and gyroscope controls designed for gaming. iQOO has not yet announced the retail price or confirmed availability outside China.
The company has not yet shared the price or memory options ahead of the October 28 sale.
