‘Sacrifice’ (2026) (Netflix)

But the glamorous event takes a terrifying turn when Joan (Anya Taylor-Joy) and her radical followers storm the gathering, taking Mike and other guests hostage. Driven by a prophecy predicting humanity's extinction, the cult demands three human sacrifices to prevent global catastrophe.
Why you should watch it: Chris Evans and Anya Taylor-Joy lead this darkly comic thriller, which turns a glamorous celebrity gala into a chaotic hostage situation. With a bizarre doomsday prophecy, a radical cult and a star-studded cast also featuring Salma Hayek and Charli XCX, "Sacrifice" offers surreal twists, stylish visuals and sharp satire aimed at celebrity culture and wealthy elites.

‘Masterplan’ (2026) (Prime Video)
Genre: Action movie
What it's about: When legendary master thief Roger (Stanley Tucci) sets his sights on stealing the Mona Lisa, he recruits Chiara (Simona Tabasco), an Italian cybercrime expert, and Jay (Victor Belmondo), a French explosives specialist. But the ambitious heist takes an unexpected turn when Roger reveals the two strangers are siblings and that he's their father. Now, this dysfunctional family must put aside their differences to pull off the robbery of the century.
Why you should watch it: Stanley Tucci is a major draw in this offbeat heist comedy, which pairs an ambitious Mona Lisa robbery with an unexpected family reunion. Expect explosive action, witty banter and plenty of dysfunctional family drama as three reluctant relatives attempt an impossible mission. With stylish Parisian settings and a suitably outrageous premise, "Masterplan" is a fun pick for fans of crime capers.
