Ceragem is building an integrated healthcare data analysis system and developing an "AI Wellness Home" after adopting the platform of Databricks, a global data and artificial intelligence platform company.
Ceragem said on the 22nd that it signed a memorandum of understanding with Databricks on the 20th at Ceragem Seoul Town in Seoul's Gangnam District. Under the agreement, the two companies will cooperate on upgrading Ceragem's company-wide data utilization system, building an integrated healthcare platform and identifying new AI-based businesses.
Databricks is a global platform company that provides integrated support for corporate data management and analysis as well as AI development. Built on open-source technology, its platform consolidates a company's varied data sets and supports the development of AI models and applications that draw on them. Ceragem plans to use the Databricks platform to consolidate data scattered across the company and to strengthen data-driven decision-making and its AI capabilities.
Ceragem plans to integrate and analyze health data collected through Ceracheck at its Wellounge locations — including blood pressure, body composition and brain wave readings — along with data gathered from a range of healthcare products such as a sleep solution set for release, and to use the results to improve its products and services. The company will use that work to flesh out its AI Wellness Home strategy, which connects healthcare products, services and spaces through AI.
"This partnership matters not only because it allows us to make more effective use of the data accumulated across the company, but because it links our various products and services into a single data system and strengthens Ceragem's AI competitiveness," a Ceragem official said. "Together with Databricks, we will connect this to the realization of the AI Wellness Home and to new healthcare businesses, and expand our future growth opportunities in the global market."
