The Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) will meet again on October 19 for further consideration of the cases of officers awaiting promotion as sub-inspectors of the Punjab Police.
In the meeting chaired by Additional IG Punjab, the cases of officers above serial number 301 will be considered.
The meeting will be held at the Central Police Office of Punjab Police, Lahore, in which the matters of promotion to the post of Acting Inspector will be reviewed.
According to the post, the meeting will be attended by DIG Establishment Two, DIG Headquarters, AIG Discipline and other concerned officers, while AIG Legal will also participate as a member of the Departmental Promotion Committee. The officers concerned have been directed to submit the working papers and recommendations to the committee on a scheduled date for further consideration of the cases of sub-inspectors awaiting promotion.
