Hard to believe that the NFL season is already 1/3 of the way over. Also hard to believe is the fact that my beloved Tampa Bay Bucs are still looking for their second week of the season. Ugh. In more local NFL news the Indianapolis Colts fired their GM so maybe that will fix things? Word is they are talking to Peyton Manning either for him to take the job or for him to provide a recommendation for the job. It’s an interesting way to go but if I’m Manning there’s no chance I’m taking that job. Right now he does the Manningcast for a bunch more money and far less hassle than he would have in his life if he became Colts GM. Plus, he’s a Colts legend so taking the chance that the owners of the Colts would eventually have to fire him doesn’t seem worth the risk to me.
