Gold prices drop over 1% on Thursday

Gold fell more than 1 percent on Thursday, WAM reports.
Spot gold slid 1.1 percent to $4,094.90 per ounce by 03:33 GMT, hitting its lowest since 14th October.
US gold futures for December delivery dropped 0.9 percent to $4,111.40.
Among other metals, spot silver dropped 2.6 percent to $56.44 per ounce, platinum slid 2.1 percent to $1,594.25 and palladium fell 2.6 percent to $1,059.05.
Earlier, gold prices edged higher.
