OSK GROUP has unveiled a refreshed brand direction for its three key business divisions, with the group planning property launches with a gross development value (GDV) of RM1.34 billion in 2027.
The refreshed direction covers OSK Construction, OSK Property Investment and OSK Property Development, collectively represented as CID.
The new brand direction was unveiled at an event at EQ Kuala Lumpur on Oct 8, attended by business partners, media representatives, vendors and suppliers.
OSK said the refresh builds on its existing corporate identity and heritage rather than replacing its established corporate logo.
It introduces a renewed brand purpose, “Making Ordinary Extraordinary”, alongside a new colourway known as “OSKoral” and a stronger focus on collaboration across the three divisions.
OSK deputy group managing director Ong Ju Xing said the refresh reflected the group’s current position and its ambitions for the next phase of growth.
“This brand refresh reflects where we are today and, more importantly, where we want to go next. ‘Making Ordinary Extraordinary’ gives us a common purpose and reminds us that ordinary people like us can create extraordinary outcomes when we have a shared purpose to improve the everyday experiences that matter to the lives we touch,” he said.
Ong said the group would seek to bring together the strengths of its construction, investment and development businesses, alongside its cables manufacturing, IBS wall panel manufacturing and hospitality operations.
“We are entering the next chapter with optimism. By bringing together the strengths of Construction, Investment and Development, combined with our Cables Manufacturing, IBS Wall Panel Manufacturing, and Hospitality businesses, we believe we can create even greater value for our customers, business partners and the communities we serve,” he said.
For OSK Property Development, the group said it plans to expand into the high-end residential segment under its “Signature” series in Subang.
The planned development follows OSK Property’s first Signature series project in Kuantan, OSK Ombak, where Phase 1 was fully booked within three months, according to the company.
OSK said the expansion was aimed at broadening its residential portfolio and responding to changing homebuyer preferences.
Meanwhile, OSK Property Investment will focus on enhancing its existing assets by expanding their retail, dining, wellness, leisure and community offerings.
Among the assets identified are Atria Shopping Gallery, Faber Towers and YOUCity Retail.
The company said it would also continue to explore opportunities to transform its assets into destinations where communities can gather and spend time beyond their traditional commercial functions.
OSK Construction, meanwhile, plans to adopt a more active growth strategy by increasing its participation in tenders for external construction projects.
The move will allow the construction arm to leverage its expertise, capabilities and track record across a wider range of projects while expanding its presence in the construction sector, OSK said.
The group said its CID and broader ecosystem-led model would enable its businesses to work more closely across property development, property investment, construction, cables manufacturing, IBS wall panel manufacturing and hospitality.
The refreshed brand identity, including the OSKoral colourway and new brand purpose, will be progressively introduced across OSK’s corporate communications, developments, assets and digital platforms.
