Players to watch on offense
- TCU transfer quarterback Josh Hoover is putting together an impressive season. Hoover has thrown for 18 touchdowns and has yet to throw an interception. Hoover’s Total QBR of 89.2 ranks No. 2 in the nation. Turnovers were an issue for Hoover at TCU, throwing 33 interceptions in three seasons as a starter, but he’s shown no signs of reverting back to that brand of football. However, Hoover has struggled with accuracy the last two games, going 12-of-22 against Nebraska and 20-of-40 versus Ohio State.
- Indiana has two running backs more than capable of doing damage — Boston College transfer Turbo Richard has rushed for 643 yards and six scores while averaging an impressive 7.4 yards per carry, while Lee Beebe Jr. has rushed for 575 yards and four scores with a 5.4 yards-per-carry average.
- Hoover has two favorite receiving targets in Nick Marsh (32 receptions, 585 yards, seven touchdowns) and Charlie Becker (39 receptions, 694 yards, eight touchdowns).
Players to watch on defense

- Defensive lineman Tobi Osunsanmi leads IU with seven sacks and also has a forced fumble.
- Defensive lineman Stephen Daley has five sacks and two forced fumbles.
