Check stock, battery health, app compatibility, seller details, and warranty before buying older Fossil watches.
Fossil smartwatches blend classic watch design with modern features. From bright touchscreens to simple analog dials, there’s a style for most users. However, Fossil exited the smartwatch business in 2024, which means the Indian market now runs on older models and leftover stock. Prices and availability vary by seller, so buyers must be careful while making a purchase.
Fossil Gen 6 (44mm)
Gen 6 (44mm) is the most versatile pick for daily use. The round AMOLED touchscreen looks premium, and the stainless-steel case adds a classic touch. A Snapdragon Wear 4100+ processor handles basic tasks smoothly, and built-in GPS records outdoor activity. Heart-rate checks, blood oxygen readings, Bluetooth calling, and phone alerts are all included. Battery lasts about a day, so regular charging is part of the routine. At an estimated Rs. 11,998, it’s a strong option whenever a genuine unit turns up.
Fossil Gen 6 Wellness Edition
The Wellness Edition is for buyers who want a sportier look and health tools. The colourful AMOLED screen is placed within a modern case. It tracks heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, and daily activity, and Wear OS adds phone alerts and compatible apps. The smartwatch costs between Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 23,995 depending on the variant and seller. The exact model number deserves a close check before buying, because the standard Gen 6 and the Wellness Edition look different.

Fossil Machine Gen 6 Hybrid (45mm)
The Machine Gen 6 Hybrid has a large 45mm case with an industrial look. Analog hands and a dark metal finish make it a bold match for casual outfits. It tracks steps, heart rate, and blood oxygen, and Alexa support and phone alerts add connected features. Fossil claims up to 14 days of battery life, and water resistance is rated at 3 ATM. The reported price of Rs. 17,633 puts it in the mid-range. It suits buyers who prefer a big watch face and long battery life over a full app experience.
Fossil Gen 5E (42mm)
Gen 5E (42mm) has a polished design with a round AMOLED touchscreen. Blush and rose gold finishes give it a dressy feel, and the compact case works for everyday wear. Core features include heart-rate tracking, activity records, and phone alerts. It supports Android and iOS phones, though exact features can vary with the phone and software version. A reported price of Rs. 14,795 makes it a fit for style-focused buyers. As an older generation, its battery condition, app support, and warranty need a careful check before purchase.
Fossil Hybrid HR Collider
Hybrid HR Collider keeps a traditional face with real hands and a small display for alerts and activity details. It’s a good match for people who would rather wear a regular watch than a bright touchscreen. Heart rate and daily activity can be tracked, and phone alerts add basic smart features. The battery can last far longer than on most touchscreen watches, though actual results depend on use and battery health. A reported Indian price of Rs. 11,990 makes it the cheaper choice here. As it is an older model, buyers should check for app compatibility and replacement support.

What to Check Before Buying a Fossil Smartwatch
With Fossil out of the smartwatch business, stock, software support and warranty become the key factors. Listed prices don’t always match what shows up at checkout, and some models may be out of stock. Confirm whether a unit is new, refurbished or pre-owned, then read the return policy and the written warranty terms. Older batteries can hold less charge than they did when new. App support needs the same attention, especially on hybrid models that depend on a phone app for alerts and health records.
The Gen 6 (44mm) remains the most versatile choice for anyone who wants a touchscreen and connected features. The Machine Gen 6 Hybrid suits those who value bold styling and longer battery life, while the Gen 6 Hybrid (40.5mm) is the more refined option. Fossil’s older watches can still appeal to style-focused buyers, but a fair price, a healthy battery, working app support and a clear warranty matter more than the original retail price.
