MOSCOW, October 16. /TASS/. Russia advocates closer cooperation among countries on the global energy market, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak said at the plenary session during the Russian Energy Week 2026 international forum.
"It is obvious here that the shock we have experienced this year, <...> and the shocks occurred during the last 15 years, they eventually lead to more individual decisions taken to safeguard one’s own energy security. From my point of view, this is, let me say so, an improper trend since global energy security exactly can only be secured in cooperation, only in joint actions," Novak said.
