From his thigh-high leather boots to his recent pair of transparent Saint Laurent Oxford shoes (worn with a gold suit, naturally), Alexander Skarsgård loves a weird-girl fashion moment. And his latest look was full of them.
Showing up to the Los Angeles premiere of his new film, Wicker, the actor wore a custom ensemble by Chopova Lowena that included the brand’s signature kilt skirt, plus a shirt featuring a framed photo of his costar Olivia Colman.

The London-based independent label, founded in 2017 by Central Saint Martins alums Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena, has become synonymous with carabiners, patchwork kilts, DIY punk accents, and a roster of It girls who call it a favorite. The brand’s signature skirt—inspired by Chopova’s Bulgarian heritage and Lowena’s love for rock climbing—first went viral some four years ago, and has since found its way into the wardrobes of Rihanna, Dua Lipa, Charli XCX, PinkPantheress... and now, Skarsgård.
The True Bold star wore a custom purple-and-green version of the midi kilt, held up by a black belt with silver hardware and, of course, dozens of carabiners. Styled by Harry Lambert, it was paired with an equally striking long-sleeve shirt: a beaded jersey top from Chopova Lowena’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection that was customized with an image of Olivia Colman as her Wicker character. (She looked just as shocked as the rest of us upon seeing the piece.)
