Cybastion, a US-based technology company with an expanding presence in Africa’s digital transformation landscape, will host a major recruitment event on October 27, 2026, bringing together experienced defense, intelligence, engineering and federal contracting professionals for career opportunities at its Northern Virginia headquarters.
The Fusion Center Job Fair, scheduled from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Fuse at Mason Square, 3401 Fairfax Drive in Arlington, Virginia, will provide qualified candidates with an opportunity to meet the company’s hiring team and senior leadership, explore available positions and potentially secure interviews.
The recruitment initiative comes as Cybastion continues to build its profile in the United States and across Africa, where its engagement in cybersecurity, digital infrastructure, technology partnerships and professional capacity building has positioned the company within the continent’s expanding digital economy.
The company’s African expansion has been particularly visible in Côte d’Ivoire, where Cybastion is involved in developing a national data center and supporting the modernization of government services. The project has benefited from more than $100 million in financing guarantees from the Export-Import Bank of the United States, reflecting growing American financial and technological involvement in Africa’s digital infrastructure.
Under the leadership of President and CEO Dr. Thierry Wandji Ketchiozo, Cybastion has pursued an ambitious strategy of combining American technology expertise with African government partnerships. Its Digital Fast Track initiative brings together sovereign data centers, cybersecurity systems, digital public services and workforce training, with the objective of helping African countries strengthen digital sovereignty and develop more resilient technology ecosystems.
The company’s reach extends beyond Côte d’Ivoire to Burkina Faso, Benin, Gabon, Guinea and the Democratic Republic of Congo, while partnerships and initiatives in Angola and other markets reflect its wider continental ambitions. In 2025, Cybastion and its American partners announced agreements valued at more than $500 million, covering digital infrastructure, cybersecurity, telecommunications and workforce development.
Recent developments have added further momentum to that expansion. In August 2026, Cybastion announced plans for a $75 million AI-powered data center and power plant in Cameroon. September brought an agreement with Liberia to develop technology hubs for women entrepreneurs and the announcement of a proposed digital transformation partnership with Senegal. Earlier this month, the company announced a collaboration with Vertiv aimed at accelerating digital infrastructure development across Africa.
Cybastion has also placed considerable emphasis on developing African technology talent. Through the Africa DigiEmpower initiative, administered by its THEYA Foundation, the company reported training more than 10,000 young people and women across 12 cities in Côte d’Ivoire in 2025. Its technology academy in Abidjan has also been designated a Cisco Networking Academy partner and Academy Support Center, providing another avenue for developing the technical skills needed to support Africa’s growing digital economy.
These initiatives underline the scale of the opportunities emerging across Africa as governments seek to modernize public administration, strengthen cybersecurity, expand data infrastructure and prepare their populations for an increasingly technology-driven economy. They also highlight Cybastion’s evolving role as a bridge between American technological capabilities and African development priorities.
Against this backdrop, the October 27 recruitment event represents another opportunity for Cybastion to strengthen its professional talent base.
The company is recruiting for a wide range of technical, operational and leadership positions, including intelligence leadership and specialist roles, technical direction and data fusion, software and systems engineering, telecommunications engineering, personnel security, export-control compliance, procurement and finance.
Additional Group leadership openings cover legal affairs, sourcing and procurement, and information technology, providing opportunities for experienced professionals with backgrounds in corporate management and specialized technical operations.
Candidates attending the fair will meet Cybastion’s hiring team and senior executives, learn more about available positions and discuss how their professional experience aligns with the company’s requirements. Selected participants may be offered scheduled or same-day interviews.
Defense and intelligence positions require eligibility for a US security clearance, while requirements for companywide leadership roles vary. Cybastion has clarified that registration or résumé submission does not guarantee an interview.
Interested candidates are encouraged to register through the official event page, select up to five positions and upload their résumés by October 25 for advance review. The company is also inviting career centers, professional recruiters, veterans’ organizations and military transition networks to help circulate information about the recruitment exercise.
Northern Virginia, home to numerous defense contractors, intelligence organizations and technology companies, offers Cybastion access to an established pool of specialized professionals. Its location in the Washington, DC metropolitan area also places the company close to federal institutions, international development organizations and businesses involved in US–Africa commercial relations.
For Cybastion, the challenge of recruiting highly qualified professionals comes alongside the broader task of delivering complex technology projects, developing international partnerships and supporting the ambitions of African governments seeking greater control over their digital futures.
The October 27 Job Fair therefore comes at an important moment in the company’s development. As Cybastion deepens its involvement in Africa’s digital transformation and strengthens its position in the American technology sector, attracting experienced professionals will remain an important part of supporting its growing operations and future ambitions.
The Fusion Center Job Fair will take place on Tuesday, October 27, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Fuse at Mason Square, 3401 Fairfax Drive, Arlington, Virginia. The deadline for advance résumé submission is October 25. Recruitment inquiries can be directed to hr@cybastiontech.com.
