H&L Advanced, the company created by merging HD Hyundai Chemical and Lotte Daesan Petrochemical, said on the 21st that it will hold an open recruitment drive for entry-level employees in the second half of the year.
It is the first open recruitment since the company launched last month as the first integrated entity under a restructuring plan aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of the petrochemical industry. The company will hire double-digit numbers of recruits for each of two tracks: management administration and technical positions.
For management administration roles, the company is recruiting in planning, human resources, finance and accounting, sales, production management (chemical engineering, mechanical, and electrical and electronics) and safety and environment. Applications will be accepted through the 10th of next month.
For technical positions, the company is recruiting in production (chemical engineering, mechanical, and electrical and electronics) and safety and environment, with applications due by the 1st of next month.
The selection process consists of a document screening, an AI aptitude test, first- and second-round interviews and a pre-employment medical examination. Technical applicants also take a written test, while management administration applicants go through a third interview.
H&L Advanced plans to use the hiring drive to strengthen staffing and key functions at its Seoul office and Daesan plant.
"This open recruitment is the first step in bringing in the talent that will join us in the integrated company's new start," an H&L Advanced official said. "We will combine the strengths secured through the business restructuring with the capabilities of our new employees to create sustainable results."
