Gypsy-Rose Blanchard is not convinced that her late partner, Ken Urker, died by suicide on Oct. 1.
In a recent update made to her anti-cyberbullying Change.org petition launched in the wake of Urker’s death, she said that “we do know with 100% certainly [sic] that it was not suicide.”
However, she noted that they are still awaiting toxicology reports after Urker was found dead at his home in Louisiana on his 34th birthday.
Blanchard, 35, insisted in the petition that she believes that “extreme cyberbullying” led to his passing, sharing that she “often found him reading negative comments.”
“Cyber bullying played a huge role in damaging Ken‘s mental health and subsequently causing him to use unhealthy coping strategies such as drugs and alcohol,” Blanchard, who shared 1-year-old daughter Aurora with Urker, claimed.
The “Gypsy Rose: Life After Lock Up” star is trying to pass a new law called “Kenan’s Law” to fight for “pattern-based harassment reporting.”
She is calling on Reddit to investigate a snark page about her, which she claimed “targeted” Urker.
At the time of his death, Urker was found with a handgun, drugs and drug paraphernalia, Page Six exclusively revealed.
He was found after Gypsy Rose’s family member, Anita Blanchard, contacted authorities to request a welfare check on Urker after he did not show up for work.
An incident report obtained by Page Six revealed that when “deputies entered [Urker’s] residence through the front door,” they were “able to see Mr. Urker from the living room area lying on his back in the bed.”
“Deputies walked in the direction of the room and located paraphernalia (syringes and spoon) in the bathroom next to a brown powdery substance,” the report read. “Deputies located a syringe and a handgun on the nightstand next to the bed.”
Urker “was found lying on the bed on his back, cold to the touch, and appeared to have been there for an extended period of time.”
The Lafourche Parish Coroner’s Office confirmed in a statement to Page Six, “As you all know, an autopsy was conducted this morning on Mr. Urker. At this time, there is no definitive cause of death. The case remains pending completion of toxicology testing.”
The couple first met in 2017, while she was serving her prison sentence for the murder of her mom, Clauddine “Dee Dee” Blanchard.
In October 2018, they got engaged, but broke up shortly after.
In June 2022, Blanchard married Ryan Scott Anderson, but they divorced two years later. She subsequently got back together with Urker and welcomed their daughter in December 2024.
Before his death, Urker and Blanchard had quietly split.
