How much will Zach Charbonnet play for Seahawks in return from injury? appeared first on ClutchPoints. Add ClutchPoints as a Preferred Source by clicking here.
The Seattle Seahawks will be facing the Kansas City Chiefs this week in hopes of getting back on track after losing their last two games. The offense hasn’t been as good as advertised, and there could be many reasons for them struggling as of late. One could be their lack of a run game, but that should change soon as Zach Charbonnet is set to return this week from injury.
It’s uncertain how much time he could see on the field, but Ian Rapoport of NFL Network believes that it can be a lot.
“I would expect him to play; I don’t know the carry load yet. He’s back full go. They really have taken their time. They’ve used the full three weeks, so I would expect him to play and to play a lot,” Rapoport said on the Pat McAfee Show.

That’s good news for the Seahawks, as Charbonnet is the best back they have on the roster as of now. Since he’s been injured this season, they’ve been going with a committee at the position, and though there were flashes, the consistency just hasn’t been there.
The hope is that Charbonnet can give them the boost that they need, and that can even open up things for Sam Darnold in the passing game.
Darnold hasn’t played like the quarterback he was last season, but the Seahawks are ready to give up on him. They’ve faced some of the toughest defenses over the last few weeks, such as the Denver Broncos and San Francisco 49ers, and unfortunately, things don’t get better as they’re set to face the Chiefs.
Hopefully, somebody such as Charbonnet can make a difference, and the Seahawks can find a rhythm on offense that can help them along the season.
