The President Bola Ahmed Tinubu/All Progressives Congress (PBAT/APC) 2027 Presidential Campaign Council has announced key restructuring measures, including the creation of a new directorate and leadership updates across core mobilization units.
A statement by Hope Uzodinma, the Secretary of the Council, said the adjustments, which follow the recent inauguration of the Presidential Campaign Council, are designed to strengthen the party’s organizational framework, improve coordination, and maximize campaign reach across key demographic groups.
In the new list, Betta Edu, the former Humanitarian Affairs Minister, who was earlier dropped in the reversed list was included.
To oversee rally setups and event management, the Campaign Council also created the Directorate of Stage Organisation and Management with Farouk Adamu Aliyu as Director and Adejare Bello as Co-Director.
The campaign also adjusted the executive teams of its Youth and Women Mobilisation directorates to enhance grassroots engagement:The Youth Mobilisation Directorate now has Mr. Ayo Olawande as Director and Dr. Dayo Israel Deputy Director.
Women Mobilisation Directorate has Dr. Mary Aille Idele as Director and Dr. Betta Edu as Deputy Director while Imaan Suleman will serve as Secretary.
According to the statement, the fresh appointments reflect the leadership’s commitment to constructing an inclusive, result-oriented campaign machine.
The statement highlighted a particular focus on effectively mobilizing women and young voters ahead of the polls.
The Campaign Council expressed confidence in the new appointees’ track records and organizational capabilities, charging them to collaborate closely with all directorates to implement the party’s election strategy effectively.
