Lenovo has updated its monitor range with a new budget option. Featuring AMD FreeSync support, the Lenovo L32-4e also offers a 144 Hz refresh rate, 300 nits peak brightness and even a VGA port.
Lenovo has updated its monitor lineup with a new budget option. A larger alternative to the L24-4e (curr. $108 on Amazon), the L32-4e has debuted on Lenovo's Product Specifications Reference (PSREF) website before receiving an official release.
In the meantime, PSREF confirms that the L32-4e leverages a VA panel with a WLED backlight. Outputting at 1080p in a 16:9 aspect ratio, the new monitor peaks at 300 nits with a 4,000:1 contrast ratio, 99% sRGB colour space coverage and an 8-bit colour depth (6-bit + FRC). Also, the 32-inch monitor combines a 144 Hz refresh rate with AMD FreeSync support and 4 ms GtG response times when Extreme Mode is activated.
The L32-4e monitor also contains relatively few ports. As the image below shows, Lenovo equips its new 31-inch monitor with just HDMI 1.4 and VGA connections. Unfortunately, the company has decided against including even a 3.5 mm jack, let alone DisplayPort or a USB hub.
Moreover, the monitor contains a stand that supports -5° to +22° tilt. Alternatively, one can mount the L32-4e Monitor to a third-party solution using the included 100 x 100 mm VESA mounts. Pricing and availability remain unknown for now. Please see Lenovo's website for more details.
