The Las Vegas Raiders will face a difficult challenge versus the Los Angeles Rams in Week 7. The Raiders are attempting to end a three-game losing streak on Sunday. The latest report out of L.A. may increase their chances.
Rams star wide receiver Puka Nacua left practice on Thursday with a calf injury, according to various reports. The two-time Pro Bowler missed time earlier this season with a groin injury. Nacua is now on the injury report with another setback, and late-week injuries typically aren't great for a player's chances of suiting up on Sunday.
The Rams were extremely banged up even before the Nacua news. Fellow star wideout Davante Adams was placed on IR earlier this week with a 6-10 week hamstring tendon injury. Also on IR: elite pass rusher Myles Garrett, starting DTs Poona Foord and Kobie Turner, TE Terrance Ferguson, and kicker Blake Grupe.
Nacua has been outstanding for the Rams this season, registering 37 receptions for 417 yards and a touchdown in four appearances. The Raiders' struggling defense would be catching a massive break if he's not in the Rams' lineup on Sunday. We'll be paying extra close attention to Nacua's status on the Rams' Friday injury report.
Rams WR Puka Nacua left practice today. He will be listed as limited with a calf injury on the injury report.
