vivo has already confirmed that the Y600 will launch in China on October 30, with pre-orders opening on October 26. Now, the phone has shown up in China Telecom's terminal database with the model number V2607A, and the listing reveals most of its key specs. It also shows us the phone in official-looking images.
According to the listing, the Y600 has a 6.83-inch screen, the Dimensity 7300e chipset at the helm, 6GB/128GB, 6GB/256GB, and 8GB/256GB memory configurations, a 50MP main camera, an 8MP selfie camera, a 10,000 mAh battery, and it runs Android 16 with vivo's OriginOS 6 on top. It measures 163.9x76.5x8.59mm, weighs 224g, and will come in blue, gold, and black.
That makes the Y600 a slightly tweaked version of the vivo S2 FE and V80 Lite, which have the same chipset and battery, but a 32MP selfie camera. For the same reason, it's also a bit different from the global Y600 5G. Compared to last year's vivo Y500, the Y600 brings a much larger battery (10,000 mAh vs. 8,200 mAh) and a slightly bigger screen (6.83 vs. 6.77 inches).
Once official, the Y600 will join the Y600 Pro, Y600 Turbo, and Y600i in vivo's lineup. It's still unclear how much it will cost, but we should find out in a week.
