As the NBA's longest-tenured player for one team, Stephen Curry has remained loyal to the Golden State Warriors. He just signed a contract extension with the Warriors, so it seems he will be playing out his twilight years with the only team he has played for.
Despite some people believing that he should leave the team, he is focused on helping the team win. He wants to keep succeeding, and it seems that the Bay Area is the only place he wants to do that.
Stephen Curry remains committed to winning with the Warriors
Curry has been one of the league's superstars since he helped the Warriors become a title-winning team in the 2014-15 season. Since then, the team has been the most successful team of the 21st century, winning four titles from 2015 to 2022.
During that time, Curry was the cornerstone of the Warriors franchise. He changed the game for the rest of the league with his three-point shooting, and he has continued to be one of the faces of the league due to his popularity and extremely high level of play.

In recent years, it has become clear that the Warriors' dominance is over. However, that does not mean that the franchise and Curry are giving up on succeeding while they are still working together. It is a respectable approach to the NBA, even though the expectations are unrealistic. However, that is the name of the game, as they just want to do their best to compete.
"It is why I do it, especially if I do it in the same place where I've been doing it for the last 17 years. I feel like that's the ultimate challenge, and I'm embracing that challenge. I'm excited for the opportunity to get some young guys to be part of that journey, and of course, I want to win," Curry said to SiriusXM NBA Radio.
It is admirable that Curry is sticking with the Warriors, but that is a rare showcase of loyalty in the NBA. He knows that the franchise helped him become as successful as he is today, and he wants to keep doing that with the team that he has spent the past two decades with.
