Drake Maye’s 30-yard touchdown pass to rookie tight end Eli Raridon has the Patriots back within one score of the Bears.
New England, which has not led tonight, trails the Bears 27-21 with 3:46 left in the third quarter.
The teams have traded touchdowns to open the second half, with Chicago opening the half with a nine-play, 72-yard touchdown drive. The Patriots’ touchdown drive was nine plays and 80 yards.
The Patriots overcame two penalties for 15 yards on the drive.
A.J. Brown had a 16-yard reception, giving him two catches for 34 yards.
Maye is 18-of-22 for 253 yards with two touchdowns and an interception. The pick in the end zone, with the Patriots at the Chicago 15, is the only reason New England isn’t leading.
