Aftonbladet and Expressen report that several Djurgården players celebrated Sunday's derby victory with supporters at a restaurant in central Stockholm.
A video clip has been circulating on social media in which Djurgården player Daniel Stensson takes the lead in creating a rhyme about someone close to Hammarby coach Henrik Rydström.
“It was far beyond the limit of what is acceptable,” says Hammarby's sports director Mikael Hjelmberg.
“We all know that you’re allowed to tease a little after a derby victory. What supporters choose to sing in the stands is one thing, but for a player representing his club to start such a crude chant involving someone’s close relatives is downright distasteful and beneath all dignity,” Hjelmberg writes to Aftonbladet.
Olle Arnell, press officer at Djurgården, tells Aftonbladet:
We have no comments on that. Doesn’t Hjelmberg have other things to focus on today?
