Lenovo has introduced the Xiaoxin 10.1 Color Ink Soft Light Edition, adding another model to its Xiaoxin tablet lineup.
Its 10.1-inch LCD has a resolution of 2,136 × 1,280 pixels, a 120Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 500 nits. The screen has an anti-glare coating and three modes: Original Color, Color Paper and Ink Paper. It also has TÜV Rheinland certifications for low blue light, flicker-free operation, anti-glare performance and color-ink eye protection. Unlike an electronic ink display, the LCD can show color images and videos alongside text.
Lenovo's Xiaoxin Pad Plus Comfort Edition has a larger 12.7-inch display and is also designed with viewing comfort in mind. The older Tab M10 (3rd Gen) has the same 10.1-inch screen size as the new Xiaoxin but uses a 60Hz panel with a typical brightness of 320 nits.
The Xiaoxin 10.1 uses a MediaTek Helio G300 processor and is available with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. Both configurations include 128GB of storage, expandable via a memory card.
The remaining hardware includes a 7,060mAh battery, an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. Its USB-C port supports data transfer speeds of up to 480Mbps, and Lenovo has retained a 3.5mm headphone jack.
For younger users, Lenovo includes its Tianjiao Academy learning platform, which offers educational resources, AI-assisted speaking practice, photo-based question solving, encyclopedia queries and drawing tools. The tablet also has parental controls. A separate learning bundle includes a protective case and stylus.
Lenovo has scheduled sales of the Xiaoxin 10.1 Color Ink Soft Light Edition to begin in China on October 30, 2026, at 8 p.m. local time. The company has not announced pricing or confirmed availability in other markets.
