The Premier League is up and running again – and with it the world's most iconic football highlights show.
Match of the Day is one of the world's longest-running TV programmes, having served UK audiences since 1964, and motors on in 2026/27.
Saturday's five-game offering includes Everton v Chelsea, Brentford v Liverpool, Man City v Ipswich and Newcastle v Aston Villa.
The renewal of the rivalry between Leeds and Man Utd is the pick of Sunday's games, though Brighton v Crystal Palace, Bournemouth v Sunderland, and Nottingham Forest v Arsenal are all mouthwatering prospects as well.
Last year marked the start of a new era for MOTD, following Gary Lineker's exit, and there have been changes for the upcoming season as well.
The presenting job is still shared by Gabby Logan, Kelly Cates and Mark Chapman but four new faces have been added to an already star-studded pundit roster – Toby Alderweireld, Robbie Keane, Ashley Young and Thomas Frank – while the BBC will be making the most of their new immersive studio.
Radio Times brings you everything you need to know about when you can get your weekly football fix through Match of the Day.
