The award was received by the Ambassador of Indonesia to Pakistan, Chandra Warsenanto Sukotjo on behalf of the Pakistani businesses, marking a proud moment for Pakistan’s entrepreneurs and bilateral economic cooperation.
The Primaduta Award is an important recognition conferred by the Government of Indonesia through its Ministry of Trade to foreign importers, international buyers, business partners and trade representatives who demonstrate loyalty and commitment to Indonesian products and services. The award aims to strengthen international business networks, expand export markets and promote Indonesia’s non-oil and gas exports.
The achievement has been warmly welcomed by Pakistan’s business community, which views the recognition as an encouraging sign of the growing potential for trade and investment cooperation between Pakistan and Indonesia.
President of the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FPCCI), Atif Ikram Sheikh, congratulated Mapak Edible Oil Private Limited and its leadership on receiving the prestigious international award.
President FPCCI described the achievement as a matter of pride for Pakistan’s business community and an encouraging example of the role Pakistani entrepreneurs can play in developing stronger international commercial partnerships.

The presidents of the Islamabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, along with other business organizations across Pakistan, also congratulated Mapak Edible Oil Private Limited on winning the Primaduta Award 2026.
The business organizations acknowledged the company’s achievement as a positive development for Pakistan’s private sector and a valuable opportunity to strengthen the country’s commercial presence in Southeast Asia.
They expressed hope that the recognition would encourage other Pakistani enterprises to explore international markets, establish strategic partnerships and expand their participation in global supply chains.
Trade Expo Indonesia, one of Indonesia’s prominent international trade exhibitions, provides a platform for exporters, importers, investors and business leaders to explore commercial opportunities and establish cross-border partnerships. The event brings together businesses from various sectors to showcase products, develop distribution networks and promote international trade.
The Primaduta Award forms part of Indonesia’s broader efforts to recognize overseas partners who contribute to the international promotion and distribution of Indonesian goods and services. Its categories recognize different forms of support, including imports of products from micro, small and medium enterprises, high-performing importers, halal products, digital goods and services, and export-supporting initiatives.
The recognition of Mapak Edible Oil Private Limited highlights the potential for Pakistani businesses to play a greater role in regional trade cooperation by building reliable sourcing relationships and maintaining long-term commercial commitments.
The award is therefore more than an individual corporate achievement; it represents an opportunity to deepen business-to-business relations and strengthen the wider economic partnership between Pakistan and Indonesia.
Pakistan’s business community expressed confidence that continued cooperation between the two governments, diplomatic missions and chambers of commerce would help translate such achievements into practical initiatives, increased market access and new investment opportunities.
Mapak Edible Oil Private Limited’s success at the 41st Trade Expo Indonesia is expected to serve as an encouraging example for Pakistani entrepreneurs seeking greater international recognition and stronger commercial engagement with Indonesia and other emerging markets.
The business community reiterated its commitment to supporting initiatives that promote trade diversification, encourage private-sector cooperation and create sustainable economic opportunities for Pakistan and its international partners.
