Billie Eilish shared a rare look at what life has been like out of the limelight of late.
The Grammy winner, 24, took to her Instagram page earlier this month with one of her signature photo dumps, one of her first in months.

The main event with the compilation was her new hair, as she debuted her natural light brown locks in a blunt bob with sideswept bangs.
In another photo, though, she also gave a glimpse of her rarely-seen tattoos. The "Happier Than Ever" hitmaker has a host of tattoos all over her body, although they're mostly quite discreet.
In her recent snap, she shared a selfie of herself, seemingly at the gym, pulling down her boxers and wide-legged jeans to reveal the tip of her Chinese dragon tattoo and her calligraphy of the words "Hard & Soft" on her abdomen, plus her belly button piercing.
In addition to the aforementioned ink, Billie also has a massive back tattoo spanning her neck to her lower back, as well as her surname, "Eilish," written out on her ribcage.
While she's expressed her fondness for all of her tattoos (in particular dubbing her dragon "big boy), the "Birds of a Feather" singer revealed in a separate interview that the three fairies on her hand may be her favorite of them all.

During one of her early annual Vanity Fair interviews, she revealed that the fairies in particular were inspired by her favorite childhood book, Fairyopolis. "They're like my little guardian angel fairies," she said. This followed up her previously saying she'd "never" show her tattoos off in a previous VF interview.
Her "Hard & Soft" tattoos are among her latest, a tribute to the 2024 album Hit Me Hard and Soft. The album was a commercial smash and earned Billie general acclaim, spawning hits like "Lunch," "Birds of a Feather," and "Wildflower." It also received eight Grammy nominations, earning Song of the Year for "Wildflower," Billie's third win in the category.
She previously told Rolling Stone of the origin of the album's title: "I thought it was such a perfect encapsulation of what this album does. It's an impossible request: You can't be hit hard and soft. You can't do anything hard and soft at the same time."

"I feel like this album is me," she continued. "It's not a character. It feels like the When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? version of me. It feels like my youth and who I was as a kid."
The two-time Academy Award winner also weighed on the album representing a return to her debut LP, after the slower tilt of her sophomore effort Happier Than Ever, alongside its lighter, brighter, more traditionally feminine aesthetic.
"In some ways, growing on [Hit Me Hard and Soft] meant revisiting a lot of things," her brother and collaborator Finneas O'Connell explained. "I feel like this album has some real ghosts in it, and I say that with love. There's ideas on this album that are five years old, and there's a past to it, which I really like."

"When Billie talks about the era of When We All Fall Asleep, it was this theatricality and this darkness. What's the thing that no one is as good at as Billie is? This album was an exploration of what we do best."
