Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike McCarthy spent halftime of Sunday’s matchup against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers being evaluated for a possible ankle injury.
A clip circulated online showing McCarthy limping toward the visiting locker room at Raymond James Stadium before turning around and slowly making his way to the injury tent behind the Steelers’ bench.
He returned to the sideline for the second half, with Pittsburgh trailing Tampa Bay 13-3. But the clip also prompted a joke from Antonio Brown about Mike Tomlin.
Antonio Brown Mocks Mike Tomlin After Mike McCarthy’s Injury
Shortly after the clip of McCarthy limping began circulating, Brown quote-tweeted the video with ajab at former Steelers coach Tomlin, writing, “Tomlin never got hurt… just built cities.”
Late last month, Tomlin showed off a massive city he has been building in Minecraft for more than 12 years.
The former coach spent nearly 20 minutes walking viewers through his virtual city. He showed off everything from hotels and apartments to restaurants and other buildings he’s spent years putting together.
Tomlin first got into Minecraft when his children were younger. It started as a way to spend time with them and soon became his own hobby. It gave him something to enjoy and unwind with away from football.
He also explained that he has always been interested in architecture. That interest inspired him to build a downtown area with towering buildings, residential neighborhoods, and waterfront views.

It first began as a small project but gradually grew into the massive virtual city he has spent the last 12 years building.
Speaking to GQ’s Jake Nevins recently, Tomlin opened up about how his interest in Minecraft grew over the years, then shared a more personal side of the hobby.
“I am probably on the spectrum. My wife would say that.” He said.

For the record, Tomlin stepped down as Steelers head coach in January. It was just a day after Pittsburgh’s 30-6 playoff loss to the Houston Texans. Since then, he’s had more time to focus on family and pick up interests that often took a back seat during his coaching career.
He even attended his first family reunion since 1997 and watched his daughter compete in gymnastics. Away from those family moments, Tomlin has also kept busy building his Minecraft city, as well known by now.
