Esra recalled that her late grandmother strongly wished to see her married. Her grandmother repeatedly encouraged her to marry her first cousin and brought the proposal to their home. However, Esra wanted the freedom to choose her own partner and focus on her career. She recalled asking her grandmother not to visit solely to discuss marriage proposals.
The media personality also revealed receiving a proposal from a politician who allegedly tried to win her over with promises of luxury. According to Esra, he offered her credit cards, cars, fuel, travel and anything else she wanted. However, she said the man was already married. His extravagant offers did not change her position on marriage.

Esra further disclosed that several married men had approached her with marriage proposals. Among them was a man who lived in the United States. These experiences highlighted the unusual situations she encountered while navigating her personal life. However, she remained clear about the kind of relationship she wanted.
Esra explained that she could not accept a relationship that might hurt another woman or disturb an existing family. She said becoming involved with a married man would conflict with her personal values. Her comments also reflected her preference for making independent choices rather than giving in to outside pressure. Through the interview, she offered insight into her experiences with marriage proposals and her reasons for maintaining her boundaries.
