M&S is giving Sparks customers the chance to earn £15 in festive rewards this Christmas. Here's how to claim the offers and make your Christmas spending go a little further.
Christmas seems to creep up earlier every year. One minute we're getting used to the transition between summer and autumn, and the next we're thinking about Christmas dinner, presents and festive decorations.
It would appear a lot of people like to get organised early for most wonderful time of the year, as new research from Marks & Spencer has revealed that 44% of Brits have already made their first Christmas purchase.
So, if you're planning to shop at M&S over the coming weeks, there's a little incentive to get your Christmas shopping in full swing. The retailer is giving Sparks customers the chance to earn up to £15 in their Sparks wallet through three special festive offers, covering everything from Christmas drinks to flowers and café treats.
Here's everything you need to know before you head out to the shops, or start shopping online, and start ticking things off your Christmas list. Plus, remember to activate the relevant offer before making your purchase so that it counts.
How to get £15 in M&S Sparks rewards this Christmas
The promotions run until January 1 2027, giving you plenty of time to take advantage throughout the festive season.
Here's details of the three rewards:
- £5 back on festive drinks: Spend £25 on Delacourt Champagne in England and Wales, or £20 on soft drinks and mixers in Scotland.
- £5 back on flowers: Buy flowers online if you're an existing Sparks customer, or in-store if you're a new Sparks customer.
- £5 back at M&S Café: Spend £20 at an M&S Café.
It's worth checking the exact terms in your Sparks account before shopping, as the offers may differ depending on whether you're an existing or new customer and where you live.
1. Stock up on Christmas drinks and earn £5
If you're already planning what to serve on Christmas Day, or even on New Year’s Eve, this could be an easy reward to pick up from M&S.
Existing Sparks customers in England and Wales can earn £5 in their wallet when they spend £25 on Delacourt Champagne. With ten varieties to choose from, including Brut and Rosé, there are options for everything from the main Christmas toast to a bottle to enjoy while wrapping presents.
If you prefer something without alcohol, customers in Scotland can earn £5 when they spend £20 on soft drinks and mixers instead. New Sparks customers can also access a £5 reward when they spend £20 on eligible soft drinks and mixers.
2. Buy festive flowers and get £5 back
M&S is offering existing Sparks customers £5 in rewards when they buy flowers online. New Sparks customers can earn the same reward when purchasing flowers in-store.
There are plenty of options to consider, too. M&S highlights its letterbox bouquets, priced at £25, bestselling Freesia bouquets at £28, and the Rose Bright bouquet at £45 as potential picks for presents or little treats for yourself.
This offer could be used when buying flowers to brighten up your own home over the Christmas period, or may be a thoughtful gift for a loved one. Flowers are also a lovely gesture if you want to thank someone for hosting you over Christmas.
3. Treat yourself to a café stop and earn another £5
Christmas shopping can be exhausting, especially when you've spent hours working your way through a gift list and still have several people left to buy for. That's where the third offer could be particularly tempting. Sparks customers can earn £5 in their wallet when they spend £20 at an M&S Café.
So, if you're planning a shopping trip anyway, you are likely to want to use this when you need to stop for lunch or a drink, and this may be an offer to use without really thinking about it.
How to claim your M&S Sparks Christmas rewards
The good news is that claiming the offers should be straightforward. You'll need an M&S Sparks account, which you can access or sign up for through the M&S app or online.
Here's what to do:
- Sign up to Sparks if you haven't already, or log in to your existing account.
- Open the M&S app and activate the festive offers available in your Sparks account.
- Shop for eligible products or purchases, making sure you meet the relevant spending threshold.
- Scan your Sparks card at checkout when making your purchase.
- Earn your rewards as Sparks credit in your wallet once you've completed the qualifying offers.
Each completed offer is worth £5, so completing all three could leave you with £15 in Sparks credit to spend at M&S.
It's also worth checking the app regularly, as M&S says new Sparks offers arrive every Tuesday. That means there could be other rewards to take advantage of while you're getting organised for Christmas.
- Terms and conditions apply. Offers run until January 1 2027. Check your Sparks account for full details.
