Aaron Pico officially has his first finish in the octagon after he scored a lightning quick knockout over Losene Keita to open the UFC 333 main card.
Pico wasted no time using his wrestling to keep Keita off balance but then he unleashed a beautiful straight right hand that put the former Oktagon champion down on the round. Pico followed him there and continued dishing out punishment until the referee saw enough to stop the fight.

The end came at just 1:14 into the opening round.
“Honestly it feels amazing,’ Pico said about his win. “I’ve been wrestling since I was four years old. I told my coaches after this fight he going to wish he put on he wrestling shoes since he was four years old.
“I want a rematch with Lerone Murphy … I want to make money, I want to get to the title.”
Pico opened the fight with a perfectly timed single-leg takdown to put Keita on his back. Pico then transitioned into some ground and pound but Keita scrambled to get back to his feet to reset the fight.
Pico then unleashed a brutal right hand that put Keita down on the canvas and the American quickly followed him to the floor where he continued the assault. The shots were coming hard and heavy with Pico punching away and Keita face down on the ground.
The punches kept raining down and the referee saw enough to stop the fight before further damage was dished out.
Pico has now won back-to-back fights after his knockout loss to Lerone Murphy in his debut. The highly touted featherweight is now looking for higher ranked competition and it’s going to be hard to deny him after performances like this one.
