This cabin backpack has been praised for its quality and easy under seat fit - and it's now £9.99 in a limited-time deal.

A cabin backpack that impressed one holidaymaker with its roomy interior, sturdy construction and ability to slide neatly under an aeroplane seat has dropped to just £9.99 in a limited-time Amazon deal.

The black 20-litre Ryanair cabin backpack is now £9.99, down 38% from its previous price of £15.99. The underseat travel backpack is designed for compact hand luggage, with multiple compartments to help keep clothes, electronics and travel essentials organised without spending a fortune.

One five-star reviewer bought the bag for a four-day trip after comparing several options, and was delighted with their choice. “I am amazed they can turn out such a quality product for such a low price,” they wrote, praising its construction, durability and the number of pockets. The £9.99 cabin backpack also earned praise for offering more room than expected.

The shopper said the bag was “very deceptive”, explaining that it held more clothing and other essentials, including chargers, than they had anticipated. Crucially, they found it practical at the airport, reporting that it fitted into the flight's luggage bin and slipped easily under the seat in the footwell. They concluded it was “a brilliant purchase, no complaints at all”. The Ryanair-style travel rucksack could therefore be worth considering for anyone planning a short break with hand luggage only.

Measuring 40 x 20 x 25cm, the backpack has a 20-litre capacity and is designed around compact cabin baggage dimensions. The listing also references airlines with different cabin bag allowances, so check the current rules for your airline and ticket before travelling, rather than assuming the bag qualifies for every free allowance. The 20L underseat backpack is intended to provide space for a few days' essentials while remaining easy to carry.

Inside, a large zipped main compartment includes a compression strap to help keep clothes in place, while the front compartment has organiser sections for smaller items. There's a separate padded laptop compartment designed for 13- and 14-inch devices, a mesh side pocket for a water bottle or umbrella, and a zipped rear pocket for valuables. The cabin backpack also includes a dedicated wet pocket, useful for separating damp towels or toiletries from dry belongings.

For easier journeys through airports and stations, a luggage strap lets you slide the backpack over a suitcase handle, while adjustable shoulder straps and a chest buckle are designed to make carrying it more comfortable. A padded back panel with breathable mesh adds support, and the bag is made from water-resistant polyester with water-resistant zips. The travel backpack with USB charging port also has a built-in charging connection, allowing you to connect a compatible power bank stored inside the bag; the power bank is not stated as included.

At £9.99, the backpack offers a budget-friendly option for short holidays, weekend breaks or everyday use. The five-star review highlights the features many travellers want from affordable hand luggage: durability, useful storage and enough room for more than expected. The black 20-litre cabin bag is currently reduced by 38%, although prices and availability can change.
