(ANSA) - ROMA, 22 OTT - The Italian Embassy in Bulgaria and the Italian Cultural Institute in Sofia participated in the 2026 edition of the “Study in Italy” university fair, in collaboration with the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria and Confindustria Bulgaria. Organized by the Sky-Lines agency and the non-profit association Uni-Italia—founded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs—the event brought together representatives from numerous Italian universities for the 17th consecutive year at the Interpred conference center.
Addressing the young participants, Ambassador Marcello Apicella emphasized that studying in Italy represents not only an academic journey but also an opportunity for personal and cultural growth, in contact with a cultural heritage made up of monuments, squares, landscapes, and traditions. He also highlighted the growing interest among Bulgarian citizens in the Italian language, an essential tool for understanding this heritage and gaining full access to the Italian job market.
The Italian Cultural Institute, directed by Maria Mazza, presented its offerings of Italian language and culture courses. Also present at the event were the president of Confindustria Bulgaria, Nunziante Coraggio, and the secretary of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Bulgaria, Anselmo Caporossi.
