The Philadelphia 76ers are in the process of preparing for the upcoming 2026-27 season, and that means taking care of their G League affiliate before their season opens as well.
The Sixers announced on Tuesday the hiring of Brad Jones to be the new GM of the Delaware Blue Coats. He is the seventh executive to helm Delaware’s basketball operations department in the 14-year history of the program. He will look to lead a rather successful G League program that focuses on development and has helped two-way players earn standard deals with the organization.
“Brad possesses a tremendous knowledge of the game and has natural leadership capabilities and a wealth of experience that will position him well as the next Blue Coats general manager," said 76ers President of Basketball Operations Mike Gansey via an official press release. "He's a great addition to our organization and well respected throughout the league. We're happy to have him on our side."
