KUALA LUMPUR: Popular actress Nora Danish was deeply touched after receiving a direct message from a woman who asked if she would consider becoming a second wife to her husband.
Although the 44-year-old star did not accept the offer, she was genuinely moved by the sincerity of the woman, who was actively looking for a co-wife.
Describing her as a "heavenly wife", Nora shared her hopes that the couple's marriage would remain blessed with loyalty, devotion, and deep affection.
"Heavenly wife… Let us pray that her husband remains loyal to her and takes care of her with all his love until the end of his days," she wrote in a social media post.
In a separate update, Nora—whose full name is Nora Mohd Danish Hanif—admitted feeling overwhelmed with emotion after reading the unexpected proposal.
"I don't know what to feel. If this is real, my heart feels so heavy with emotion. To think there are wives as good as this. Please don't make me cry on a rainy night like this," she shared.
In the original message sent to the actress, the woman praised her husband's kind nature and strong faith while making her gentle request.
"Assalamualaikum, Kak Nora. My husband is pious and very kind. I am currently looking for a second match for my husband. If Kak Nora is willing to undergo ta'aruf (getting to know one another) with my husband, I would be deeply honoured," the message read.
