Solos, a smart glasses brand with over two decades in the game, keeps delivering meaningful innovations you actually want in wearable tech. This is especially true in its latest smart glasses, the AirGo V2. These stylish frames put powerful AI front and center, letting you keep your phone in your pocket. The comfortable fit, industry-leading battery life, and ultra-slim camera are great, but the modular design puts the AirGo V2 in a league of its own.
The AirGo V2 is the fourth generation in Solos’ AirGo smartglasses lineup. This flagship model goes for $299 and is the company’s most modular and technologically advanced glasses to date. Still, it nails the smartglasses basics, too. From full lens support, no matter your subscription, to a light 40g weight and exceptional high-fidelity open-ear audio, these glasses were clearly designed for all-day, real-world use. However, the features below are what make the AirGo V2 a standout:
Compact Full HD Camera with Privacy Features
The slim 16MP camera captures crisp, high-res photos. Plus, it captures 2K FHD video at 30 fps for super-smooth visuals. Thanks to image stabilization, recordings won’t be shaky, which is ideal for content creation or awesome travel footage.
While having a camera is great, sometimes you don’t want it visible or aren’t allowed to have it, and that is what sets the Solos AirGo V2 apart from other smart glasses. A privacy kit is available for $79. It includes a clip-on that adds a front frame to block the camera. Taking things further, the ClearView Temple removes the camera hardware by essentially replacing the arm.
Screen Free Wearable AI
If you want to take a break from screen time and step into the real world, the Solos AirGo V2 is meant to do just that, all while still keeping you connected. SolosChat 4.0 lets you take photos and videos, ask questions, and even get real-time translations in over 28 languages using just your voice. The glasses process everything you ask them to do locally, improving speed and privacy. Multimodal AI integration takes things further, allowing the cameras to be used for identifying objects, translating text, and more.
Battery Life That Can’t Be Beat
After a single charge, the Solos AirGo V2 delivers up to 12 hours of use, longer than comparable smart glasses, including the Meta Glasses. What’s more, the Solos AirGo V2 offers an optional swappable spare battery temple, giving you five days of use before worrying about a recharge.
