Brenda, the ex-partner of Kenyan musician Stivo Simple Boy, has broken her silence after a DNA test the singer reportedly conducted on their son returned results confirming he is not the biological father.
In a raw, selfie-style video recorded inside a parked car at night, Brenda addressed the situation directly and with visible emotion, speaking in Sheng as she laid out her version of events.
She claimed that Stivo was never in the dark about the child's paternity, insisting she had told him the boy was not his long before the DNA test was ever done.
"Uliwai kumwambia mtoto si wake... ilikuwa kwenye content," Brenda said in the clip, suggesting the two had mutually agreed that the child's involvement in their public life was tied to content creation and that Stivo had accepted the situation on those terms.
What triggered Brenda's video
According to Brenda, the confrontation that pushed her to speak came after a man she identified as Oscar arrived at her location alongside Stivo, carrying paperwork connected to the DNA results.
She alleged that things turned hostile, with Oscar becoming physical, throwing objects and ordering her to leave.
Brenda directed sharp words at Stivo, saying he had already been informed about the paternity situation beforehand.
She maintained that the child is healthy and developing normally, and she dismissed any suggestion that the situation required the kind of confrontation she says she was subjected to.
Brenda closed the video on a pointed note, inviting dialogue while making clear she felt wronged but suggested she remained open to conversation but was unwilling to let the confrontation go unaddressed.
