The met agency hasn't revised its forecast for the weekend, and so it continues to be for a "drastic" change in the weather, especially on Sunday, with rain - locally very heavy and persistent - thunderstorms and high winds. Alerts have yet to be issued, but it seems inevitable that they will be. They may well last into next week, as Monday's forecast looks awful and Tuesday's only better in that the wind is expected to have died down. Temperatures listed below may be somewhat optimistic. As it is, weather stations are indicating lower temperatures for Tuesday but then a significant rise on Wednesday, albeit that rain is currently forecast to be very likely.
As to Friday, this should be quite sunny for the most part and with some very warm temperatures and not much breeze. Saturday could see some sun but there is a high probability of rain as the anticipated DANA cut-off low coming from France moves in.
