The Kabaka Foundation Sweden Chapter has marked 30 years of community service, with its leadership urging members to sustain health, agriculture and education initiatives while embracing a new health insurance scheme.
The Kabaka Foundation Sweden Chapter has celebrated 30 years of community service, marking three decades of contributions to community development through initiatives in health, agriculture and education.
The commemorative event was attended by Eddie Ndagala Kaggwa, chief executive director of the Kabaka Foundation, who commended members for their dedication and continued support towards advancing the foundation’s mission.
Kaggwa urged members to remain committed to serving communities and strengthening collective efforts to improve people’s well-being.
“Thirty years of service is a remarkable milestone that reflects your dedication, unity, and commitment to community development. I encourage you to remain steadfast in serving our communities and to continue supporting initiatives that create meaningful and lasting change,” he said.
He also introduced the Tubeere Balamu Yinsuwa initiative, a health insurance scheme designed to help members access healthcare services during periods of vulnerability.
“I encourage all members to embrace the Tubeere Balamu Yinsuwa initiative, support its growth, and enrol their family members. Access to healthcare is essential, and through collective participation, we can help ensure that more people receive the care they need when they need it most,” Kaggwa said.
A message from the Kabaka was read by Nelson Mugenyi, the monarch’s representative in Scandinavia, who represented His Majesty at the event. The message highlighted the significance of the anniversary and the importance of sustaining initiatives that promote community welfare and development.
The 30-year milestone reflects the dedication and collective efforts of the Sweden Chapter and its members in advancing programmes in health, agriculture and education.
As the chapter celebrates the achievement, members have been encouraged to renew their commitment to the foundation’s mission, strengthen their unity and continue supporting programmes that improve community livelihoods.
The anniversary also provides an opportunity for the chapter to reaffirm its commitment to building healthier, stronger and more empowered communities.
