The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority (PCAA) has announced three job vacancies for experienced professionals, offering a monthly salary of up to Rs 13.73 lac.
The positions include Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) and Superintendent, with recruitment based on merit and eligibility.
According to Situation Vacant Notice No. 05/2026, PCAA is hiring two Flight Operations Inspectors and one Superintendent.

Eligibility Criteria for Flight Operations Inspector Jobs
PCAA has announced two Flight Operations Inspector (Aeroplane) positions for experienced commercial pilots. Applicants must be Pakistani nationals and must hold or have previously held an Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL).
Candidates must have a type rating on a commercial transport aircraft with a maximum gross take-off weight of at least 40,000 kilograms.
They must also have completed a minimum of 5,000 flying hours as Pilot-in-Command on commercial air transport aircraft meeting the same weight requirement.
In addition, applicants must have at least 10 years of experience as pilots of commercial air transport aircraft. The maximum age limit is 66 years, including all age relaxations.
PCAA also requires candidates to have an SFI, TRI, SFE, or TRE endorsement on their ATPL. Applicants holding SFE or TRE endorsements will be preferred.
Experience in operational management will be considered an advantage. Candidates with a background in airline operations, aviation safety management, compliance audits or regulatory oversight will receive preference.
Applicants should know International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Annex 6 and European Union regulations related to flight operations. Strong analytical and decision-making abilities are also required.
The authority has further specified that applicants must be proficient in information technology and Microsoft Office. They should have an excellent aviation safety record and demonstrate a high level of professional integrity.
Qualification and Experience Required for Superintendent
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority is also recruiting one Superintendent under SG-10. The position offers a monthly salary of Rs 204,495, which is negotiable.
Applicants must hold at least a bachelor’s degree with second division and possess an MS Office certificate.
They must also have a minimum of 10 years of professional experience in general administration and office management.
The required experience includes maintaining official documents and records, performing data entry and managing complex office schedules. Candidates should also be familiar with preparing and processing administrative cases.
PCAA seeks applicants who can coordinate office activities, supervise staff, and manage correspondence with various stakeholders. Experience handling administrative responsibilities across departments is also relevant.
Candidates who have previously worked in the aviation sector will be preferred, particularly those with experience in administration, office management, or operations management.

The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has identified Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad, Peshawar and Quetta as possible locations for recruitment tests and interviews.
According to the advertisement, the selection process will depend on the number of applications received. Separate notices will be issued to provide further information about the tests and interviews.
Candidates called for an interview must present their original documents for verification. PCAA will not provide travelling allowances or daily allowances to candidates attending the recruitment process.
Final appointments will be subject to the authority’s medical fitness standards. Successful applicants must also be prepared to serve anywhere in Pakistan, depending on PCAA’s requirements.
